Raushan is a legal professional specialising in tax, corporate law, regulatory compliance, civil, and labour law, with extensive experience in dispute resolution and international arbitration. She has been involved in projects representing clients in international arbitration, including proceedings before the ICC and CIETAC.
Her work includes assisting global pharmaceutical companies with medicine supply, data exclusivity rights, and safety regulations, as well as supporting foreign enterprises with corporate and labour law matters in Kazakhstan.
Raushan is a member of the Kazakhstan Bar Association and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in European and International Business Law at the University of Vienna, with a focus on European and International Tax Law.

• Representing clients in tax disputes, including issues related to confirmation of tax deductions, prosecution for tax offences and challenging decisions of tax authorities.
• Participated in the project related to representation of a subsidiary of a national company in an international commercial arbitration before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Geneva.
• Participated in the project related to representation of a Chinese pump manufacturer in arbitration proceedings before the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
• Represented multinational pharmaceutical companies (producers of original drugs) in legal proceedings against a generic-drug manufacturer, aiming to prevent the registration of a generic drug in Kazakhstan based on data exclusivity rights.
• Advised a global pharmaceutical company on regulatory matters in the pharmaceutical sector, including legal support for the medicine supply process and the assessment of medicine and substance quality and safety in compliance with Kazakhstani legislation.
• Prepared and reviewed general commercial contracts and internal policy regulations for a Fortune 500 tobacco company.
• Assisted a foreign national airline with corporate and labour law matters, ensuring compliance with Kazakhstani legal requirements and regulations.
• Advised an American advanced-technology multinational corporation on corporate law, material contracts, and liabilities under Kazakhstani legislation.
• Provided legal support to clients establishing and operating businesses in Kazakhstan, including drafting corporate documents and assisting with obtaining licences, work permits, and other regulatory approvals.
