On 24 September, KP Disputes will present Part 2 of its practical guide “Tax Disputes: A Guide to Case Law. Part 2. International Taxation” at Rixos Almaty.
Part 2 brings together and systematises the applicable legal framework, Kazakhstani and foreign case law, as well as practical takeaways on key international tax issues, including permanent establishments, dividends, royalties, interest, the MLI, and the mutual agreement procedure under tax treaties.
During the presentation, we will explain how the guide is structured and how to use it in practice: how to quickly find relevant case law, judicial approaches, and practical takeaways on a specific tax issue.
We will also present the system of additional materials available via QR codes, including a collection of court decisions, templates of procedural documents, guidance from government authorities, articles, and video materials.
